Okay but, seen reports of people detained in Chicago, what are you doing to prevent that?

From this article alone: suing the federal government over the birthright citizenship XO, instructing Chicago and Illinois law enforcement to not cooperate with federal ICE raids, having the CTA display ads on immigrants rights and connecting them to resources, hosting know your rights trainings, vet rumors of immigration raids and lay the groundwork for future legislation to counteract federal gov's actions.

What can he do? He can't bar federal employees from entering the city and doing what they're going to do. They're just under no obligation to aid them in any way.

Well yes, but that's a positive. They are spreading the messages also noted in the article which are important to get out there. The press is a valuable tool to do that.
