Your comment reminds me of when I got banned from bringing my family’s TVs to Halo lan parties. A CRT I was packing up rolled off the bed and committed suicide on the floor while I was grabbing controllers. Good times… mostly.
Are those CRTs that 120hz beast I saw on Digital Foundry? With all the JPG it's hard to say but it looks like it.

How did you get a vertical CRT game to work?
Some games have an option for “tate”. Japanese word for “to stand up” as far as I understand.
