Annie: What is that smell?

Jack: It's gas.

Annie: We're leaking gas?

Jack: We are now.

Annie: What, you thought you needed another challenge or something?

I rewatched this last night. It holds up pretty well, mainly because it was totally unbelievable in the first place. Dennis Hopper nails it.

He was already on the Interactive TV bandwagon. Truly, a man ahead of his time.

I have a vague feeling of seeing a movie like that years ago. What was the title?

Empricorn@feddit.nl · 23 pts · 1y

"The Bus That Couldn't Slow Down"!

SPEED

Martineski@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 2 pts · 1y (1 reply)

That was an unexpectedly quick response. It was speed.

The Bus That Can't Slow Down

TachyonTele@lemm.ee · 5 pts · 1y

Number of people here asking for serious reality from a drawn comic is way too high.

Shoot the hostage.

Hum... He's driving on the wrong lane, in a curve with no visibility at all.

There is one import POV this picture isn't showing.

wonderfulvoltaire@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1y (4 replies)

They're most likely in Europe

Hobbes_Dent@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 1y

Perhaps, but the left hand drive makes it fairly unsafe for left lane use.

Edit: <->

marcos@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1y

You can tell the right lane apart by looking at the position of the driving wheel.

They can be in Europe, yes. But they are on the wrong lane.

superkret@feddit.org · 1 pts · 1y (1 reply)

The only country in Europe with left lane driving doesn't have mountains like that.

There are four countries and one includes Scotland (and the others are Ireland, Malta, and Cyprus).
