Prompt: "Children's book illustration, in the style of Roald Dahl. The textless picture is mostly black and white. It depicts a young girl with short red hair and a black dress frowning, as she stands next to a red front door, and, with a thick paintbrush, paints the bottom half of the door black while holding a metallic paint bucket."
Inspired by The Rolling Stones - Paint It, Black. Originally posted as a "name that song" challenge, but it seems a lot of people really liked the picture (as evidenced by how many upvotes it got).

I mean, it's a really cool image, I wonder if it would have been closer to what you wanted if you'd asked for it in the style of Quentin Blake?

Nope. Here's what I got by asking for Quentin Blake

Love the all-handedness inclusivity of having two doorknobs.
Ambidextrous people, rejoice! You now have a doorknob for every mood and situation!

Weirdly, super consistent with your image.

Yeah, my bad for not knowing Quentin Blake was actually the one who illustrated Roald Dahl's books. Ah well.
