Would be nice with a brief description of what each link does.

chimay@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 3y

done !

Ghostalmedia@lemmy.world · 27 pts · 3y

Any descriptions for what those links go to?

This is helpful, thanks!

(commenting so I can also bookmark it in a way, there is still no save feature)

You can save the post. The star button next to the upvote/downvote button is the save button

Edit: My bad, I didn't realise you are using kbin

sourworm@kbin.social · 1 pts · 3y (1 reply)

@sgtlsgtlighttree (not sure if that works) appears to be using kbin which I don't think has that star icon and also no way to save the post.

dcpDarkMatter@kbin.social · 3 pts · 3y

No, no save on Kbin, but we do have a "Boost" button, which is functionally the same.

There is a save feature, that little star icon. I just tried it and it gets saved on your profile it looks like. It works for both posts and comments.

Very focused on Mastodon.

chimay@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 3y

I'm guessing the author is a mastodon user, but it can be applied on other microblog projects

Can anyone tell me how to browse all communities local to an instance? So I have to go to their domain? Can I do it from here?

Eisenhowever@kbin.social · 3 pts · 3y

It seens like theres no feature for that yet, unfortunately. Given that the dev is currently on the stage where hes improving the front end (website that we the consumers see) id expect that in a couple of months
