... but like, if I am discriminated against because my gender expression is different from my assigned sex, then even if my gender identity isn't protected that's still discrimination based on sex and that should still be protected.
I won't hold by breath, but like???

Spot on. This was essentially exactly the same reasoning that Justice Gorsuch used when writing the opinion (Roberts and the three Democrats joining) in the discrimination case Bostock v. Clayton County

I'm sorry Iowa. I was there when they were second in the nation to legalize gay marriage. I was so proud to be an Iowan. Shameful what they're doing to the state. Absolutely shameful. For a state that touts freedom and liberty it hurts to see them roll them both back.

A decade ago I was looking to get out of Florida, because I knew that place was going to get worse. I've got family in northern Iowa, very close to the Minnesota border, both states were on the short list due to the trans protections and how gay marriage legislation went. I picked Minnesota, and I hate the fact it's just become the right choice.
