It is well overfunded, thats pretty good news, and this group has a lot of goodwill stored up from the game, but I backed the System Shock Remake from NightDive studios and after how disastrous that was, I couldn't possibly recommend anyone fund anything on Kickstarter anymore.

You might be in luck! This post seems to indicate you'll be able to do a 'late pledge': https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/745810196/deep-rock-galactic-high-quality-mugs-50cl/posts/4339171

• For people who have NOT participated during the campaign but still want to participate now: The late pledges are coming. You will NOT be paying extra compared to other backers and you will have access to every item and reward packs advertised.

We’re currently in the process of setting this all up.
