These are things in PHP which make me sad. They are real, objective issues which I have personally encountered in my normal day-to-day activites. Nothing on this site should be taken to be the view of my employer or is related to my employer in any way.

Last updated 7 years ago with a version of PHP that's EoL now. Is this still relevant?

Since PHP has to maintain backward compatibility, many of the issues are not and will never be fixed.

Long ago, I solved all of the ways in which PHP made me sad...
...by abandoning it.
Nowadays we have better languages that can do the job at least as well.

Does this site really not support HTTPS? I'm just gonna assume that the author's views on PHP are also stuck in 2005 then, like his website.
