The USA independent french tech.

toy_boat_toy_boat@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 1y

why rely on old french technology when trillions of dollars of good ol' american ingenuity can blow a new hole in the bikini atoll?

Or dis-pose

toy_boat_toy_boat@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1y

i really don't care what they have to say. i'm sticking with de-pose.

Im deutschen gab es eine Partei, die Menschen als Parasiten bezeichnet hat. Im deutschen wäre das Wort Schmarotzer angebrachter.

In German, there was a party that called people parasites. In German, the word "Schmarotzer" would be more appropriate.

barsoap@lemm.ee · 2 pts · 1y

Schmarotzer historically meant beggar and incidentally doubles as a synonym of parasite in the medical sense.
