Why my smart tv does not have access to my network and is also in demo mode. I still noticed it turning on in the middle of the night so now it’s on a remote controlled power strip
"Don’t connect your TV to the internet!" - Alright, but then how am I supposed to get software patches/updates and access online content?
And if I connect manullly once a month, for example, who is guaranteeing me, that not all data collected will be transmitted in this moment? (Only few know how to block traffic in their home network.)

Quite likely. Make sure you clear your cache and cookies. ;) My browser dumps them every time I close it.

You can update many TVs through USB.
