Actually getting a reliable stream of AMAs going could be just what Lemmy needs to really grow, it was a primary engagement point for Reddit.

Does anyone know how that all started or how to replicate the approach built by them?

Probably create a meta post on !askmeanything@lemmy.ca asking people to offer what AMAs they could do and then organize the ones with the most votes

Have one really dedicated and passionate person moderate and reach out to people for AMAs.

Reddit went to shit after Obama’s ama, so we got a solid 6 years of good Lemmy content

What is that and how would we know the difference between an (in)authentic cryptkeeper?

I actually dont care so much about that for this specific case. That would be entertaining as well
