In May 2024 a smaller fishing boat operating off of Newfoundland needed assistance. Aboard was an injured fisherman that needed immediate evacuation and be brought to a hospital.

103 Sqn was tasked for this medevac.

103 is a RCAF Search and Rescue Squadron based out of Gander, Newfoundland, Canada. They fly the CH-149 (AW101) Cormorant Helicopter.
