Transco has 150% better code (trans people get a natural coding buff)

And a 200% buff if wearing thigh highs and/or a skirt

It's called Transfer Rate, not Cisfer Rate

I'm pretty sure I didn't dream this but the reason its called Cisco is because of San Francisco! Look at the logo, its the golden gate bridge 🥰

Wow, I always thought it represented a spectrograph of radio communication. I guess you can see it both as the bridge and the radio, that's a really clever logo!

darksiderbun@lemmy.ca · 2 pts · 1y

Oh I think it's that too! Quite clever

slazer2au@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 1y

Yes it's call Cisco because they started in San Francisco and use the gate as their logo.

We're actually, on average, not any better at coding. I personally bring the average down by writing nothing but dogshit spaghetti tyvm

itslilith@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 2 pts · 1y

spaghetti bork is an outlier and should not be counted

Clabretro videos (amazing youtube channel by the way go watch him) got me into old networking stuff and I just ordered an old Adtran switch because I needed PoE for some old Cisco stuff. I should get a little S sticker to make it Adtrans to make my network more gender themed

synapse1278@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1y

Are you converting your home network to tokenring too ? :D

This took me entirely too long.

I think the Cisco logo is basically background noise.

I read this like three times:

Wait, what? Wait, what was it? Oh, I get it.

slazer2au@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1y

No, it's based on the golden gate bridge.
