Did they all vote for Harris? Because Trump has been taking about tarrifs for awhile.

entwine413@lemm.ee · 78 pts · 1y (2 replies)

They waited until it affected them before looking up what that means.

AFAIK it is called hypocrites. Together with opportunists it is a global mental illness - not only the US.

FistingEnthusiast@lemmynsfw.com · 16 pts · 1y

It's everywhere, but the US has made hypocricy and greed a virtue

Not to mention competitive stupidity...

only ~ 38 percent did. not only did montana go 'red' again, they also did their part to ensure republicant majorities in congress; the state legislature has been all republicant majorities for 16 years and they re-elected a maga governor.

I figured as such. I just didn't want to assume without the data.

KingGordon@lemmy.world · 26 pts · 1y (3 replies)

Did they even say thank you?

GeeDubHayduke@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 9 pts · 1y (1 reply)

They don't have the cards.

jaemo@sh.itjust.works · 5 pts · 1y

No thank you cards depicting men wearing suits and then when you open the card the YMCA theme plays and you all do the Trump dance.

They don't have those. And that's exactly what they needed.

samus12345@lemm.ee · 4 pts · 1y

Bet they're not wearing suits.

resipsaloquitur@lemm.ee · 3 pts · 1y

If only there were some way to know Trump would impose tariffs in his second term.

So wait, is Montana saying that hurting POCs, women, migrants, and trans kids ISN'T worth losing money over? Some Republicans they turned out to be!

SebaDC@discuss.tchncs.de · 6 pts · 1y

I'm running out of prayers...

Wilco@lemm.ee · 3 pts · 1y

I don't give them any thoughts.

BigMacHole@lemm.ee · 56 pts · 1y (1 reply)

Why? They LITERALLY Voted for EXACTLY this?

FistingEnthusiast@lemmynsfw.com · 13 pts · 1y

Yeah, but they're dimwits, so they didn't actually bother to understand what they were voting for

bappity@lemmy.world · 48 pts · 1y (2 replies)

didn't they vote for this?? are they stupid?

vivendi@programming.dev · 23 pts · 1y

Yes, actually that's the case

OutlierBlue@lemmy.ca · 15 pts · 1y

Yes and yes.

Banzai51@midwest.social · 6 pts · 1y

When the core tenants of your Republicanism is racism and the belief Democrats are baby killing Satanists, you don't have to think about it, you just vote R.
