In the USA people are taking the government to court to maintain democracy and respect for human rights.
In China those things are already long gone. Minority concentration camps, hostile trade tactics, attacks on temples and historic sites, militaristic border expansion, they've got it all.

Sabotaging Germany allowed allied USA and Europe to go in and take over.
Sabotaging the USA will result in China and Russia taking over, which is worse.
