It comes with a mental burden. You don’t want to unwittingly start leaning on it and then it resets.
Sometimes a joker doesn't seem good but it synergizes with others or it surprises you another way. This is not one of those.
NGL ive had some really good runs with obelisk. If you use flush early game, you can transition really smoothly to high card/pair/two-pair and ride obelisk out for a long time
Obelisk is pretty easily run winning especially if you get it early, but God I hate using it.
