Life is too short. You have to be able to laugh at yourself.

Dude. So wrong.

Don't be small minded. Sometimes you have to be the bigger man.

IWantToFuckSpez@kbin.social · 15 pts · 2y

That’s low. Dude can’t help that life shortchanged him.

Quexotic@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 2y

Fair enough. It was just a little joke.

snooggums@kbin.social · 16 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Oh come on, it was top shelf humor.

Quexotic@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 2y

Alright, I'll try not to be so small minded.

I want to get a coloring book and crayons when sitting down at a restaurant, too!

TalesFromTheKitchen@lemmy.ml · 3 pts · 2y (2 replies)

Haha that reminded me that there is a tiny maritime Restaurant in a town near where I live, where they have giant meal sizes. If you want a normal sized portion you'll have to order a kids meal and the waitress brings you a coloring book and crayons. If you order a normal portion and don't finish it, they'll ask you nicely force you to donate to the maritime rescue organization.

Blackdoomax@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 2y (1 reply)

How do they force you?

TalesFromTheKitchen@lemmy.ml · 2 pts · 2y

They don't obviously. They pretend to be a bit angry that you ordered more than you can eat. Kind if like: You should be ashamed and do something better with your money. They are a very friendly older couple though.

Why is this even news?

quindraco@lemm.ee · 18 pts · 2y

Because Chloe wasn't given crayons or a coloring book, despite clearly wanting to draw.

Maddison@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 2y

its fonny and people like it

pastermil@sh.itjust.works · 23 pts · 2y (2 replies)

Are we not gonna address how Lusted is a surname?

Avg@lemm.ee · 8 pts · 2y (1 reply)

You know how sometimes surnames are based on an ancestors career?

pastermil@sh.itjust.works · 4 pts · 2y

This begs even more questions!

Crow@lemmy.world · 21 pts · 2y

You may be laughing but he orders the kids meal and has a full stomach for just a few bucks. Sometimes he eats free!

moistclump@lemmy.world · 19 pts · 2y

I could totally see how that mistake would be made. I’d be so fucking horrified as the server but if the place was busy and I just caught a glance, height is the most obvious indicator. It might not have even been by the person seating them or interacting, maybe just a server that thought they were being helpful. Big Oof.

Zehzin@lemmy.world · 12 pts · 2y

That should be the standard for all people tbh

instamat@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Bring him markers, crayons are for babies

Woah! Crayons are for Marines!

That's gonna help with the role play later.
