To anyone who's decently familiar with Oblivion:

I am new and I like to read up on the game and maximize my ability to understand what I have to do and stuff before I do them.

I read that if I progress the main quest a bit, it could be hard to handle the enemies near the gates at lower levels.

Is that the case and if so, what would be a decent level to go to Kvatch and start to do the gates?🤔

@BeAware@mementomori.social i think, If you are Level 5, decent Gear and enough health potions it's mostly ok for entering the Gate at Kvatch from my memory.

@Banur@metalhead.club Oh okay. I'm about 7-8 and using some crap gear I found. I think I'll over-level a bit and see if the level scaling doesn't hit me too hard.

Have fun, but beware, my memory is somewhat 10 years old for this game ;)

@Banur@metalhead.club Haha. That's okay. I'm sure certain things like that haven't been changed, even in the remaster.
