Japanese was my major at uni (didn't graduate and lost a lot of the language since then, unfortunately). I saw 我, 大学, 学 and 字 so I kind of took an educated guess at what you were saying :) works for simple concepts.

死 is also Chinese, which is the language I know. That sentence was written in Chinese - is it really readable in nihongo?
