Seconded for wire transfer. I don't know as much about it, but going directly through banks without an intermediary who might sell your data is preferable.

SEPA Direct Debit is also a wire transfer (bank to bank)

And some institutions waive the fees, which is super nice.

Wire transfer can still go through intermediaries, although I generally don't think these companies are in the business of selling data.
For example, a bank can use a service to connect to a scheme (say SEPA, or FPS, or whatever).
