The best thing is that you can reflect it back at them with a curved surface. He also has similar DIY techie experiments for directed energy weapons like the Active Denial System.

tl;dw… shop headphones and a riot shield. Interestingly turning the riot shield around also reflected and concentrated the sound back to the operator. Something they didn’t do was multiple riot shields. I wonder if there were several reflecting the sound back if it would turn the weapon against the operator.
