It's almost like the system is designed to prevent the working class from gaining any headway while consistently capitulating to the whims of capital.

The intrinsic failure of arbitrarily hierarchical systems. When the working class demands change, it can't happen because [arbitrary barriers we blindly obey] while anytime the owning-class demands it, suddenly we must make compromises for the benefit of the "county's economy"

Never forget the state and the economy are intrinsically linked. The state is a tool of the ruling class to oppress the working class. It is fundamental to the system itself.

A patch left alone will become grasses again because biodiversity in the area has been eliminated and the non native grasses will out-compete native plants.

To return an area to nature requires considerable effort to ensure natives can reestablish in an area and keep invasives out.

As for walking barefoot, use paths or don't go barefoot. Your desire to walk barefoot does not trump the need for a healthy ecosystem.

Didn't say it didn't happen in other systems. I'm saying the assumption that capitalism is the best system just because it's the one we currently have is simple minded and self fulfilling logic.

I suggest you do stop this discussion to educate yourself if this wasn't readily evident for you.

Stop with this capitalist realism nonsense.

The problem with capitalism is that it only benefits a small ruling elite who claim private ownership over the means of production to the point it oppressed all other systems, regardless of if they were better or worse for society as a whole.

Also, it isn't that big of a deal in a turn based tactics game to have all the animations be silky smooth or responsive like it is in games with real-time combat. The quality doesn't directly affect the play experience for the most part.

A turn based game at 30 frames plays the same as it does at 60 or 120. It only doesn't look as good. Can't say the same for other genres.
