Many moons ago I attended an event with my keyboard, no rehearsal, and was told to:
'Play along with whatever people say. Make it work.'
I did, they liked it, as I work well under pressure but it taught me that I really like poetry and spoken word, and playing along with it and retaining the emotion of the poet is really interesting.
