Excited for Raiders but still on the fence about picking this up. Not huge into competitive games generally, but always thought the series was interesting.

I've probably put in 400 hours between 2 & 3, and it's mostly because it was a good balance between casual, competitive, and cooperative.

I'll see if I can get it discounted. My interest is at an all time high

Lmao, discount? Nintendo?

But with a user name like yours, I'd say you are the target demographic.

Woot regularly sells it for $45. So yeah, discounts happen.

Also, Rule 7 buddy. Careful. Can't tell if you're being rude or making a sort of pun between Splooge and Splatoon.

The single player campaigns are excellent on all three Splatoon games. I like them so much that they are essentially normal single player games to me, with a bonus multiplayer mode on the side.

Thanks! That might push me over the edge to get it actually

I was also on the fence for a long time because I detest console shooters as a result of playing a lot of PC shooters (inability to aim as consistently or as quickly just feels terrible to me), but at the same time, the novelty of a Nintendo-developed PvP shooter always interested me. In the end I couldn't make a decision myself so I put it on my Christmas/birthday list and a family member bought it for me. I'm glad I tried it, although I don't like it enough to play regularly.
