First time I "Had to lay 'er down" NSFW

Well that sucked. I was going about 35mph down Yerba Buena Rd in Malibu CA, where I misread a right turn, locked up the back wheel and low sided it into the other lane of traffic. Thankfully no car was coming up the mountain. No broken bones, just a bit of road rash on my arm, hip/butt and a broken pride. Haven't done a complete look over of the bike yet but I think my pedals took the brunt of the impact and slide.

I'm still going to cycle, but it does give me consideration to sell my motorcycle...

Ouch! The SO got some nasty road rash when he made a hard right over milled asphalt. Use a lot of Neosporin and aquaphor to minimise scarring and aid healing!
