Arch user vitriol at a Silverblue solution

jawa22@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 26 pts · 1y (2 replies)

I swear that Lemmy is the only place you can consistently find this kind of incredibly niche need joke. Never stop.

It truly brightened my morning to see you here again after sabbatical. Belated from my sparse parse of the feed, but a most welcome sight. Welcome home.

jawa22@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 8 pts · 1y

Thanks, I appreciate that :)

Wait, I randomly chose a silverblue distro, what did I do

j4k3@lemmy.world · 33 pts · 1y (3 replies)

You're going to RHEL for your sins! Repent!

Jankatarch@lemmy.world · 17 pts · 1y (1 reply)

If you rearrange the letters in hell you get rhel. Coincidence?

herl no

Zwiebel@feddit.org · 11 pts · 1y

Repent through what? Repairing ten arch-user friend's installs?

nickwitha_k@lemmy.sdf.org · 4 pts · 1y (1 reply)

I recommend Kinoite, if you're doing anything graphical. Gnome support for DRM leases hasn't been great. Saying that really does pain me as I still think that Gnome 2.x is my favorite DE that I've used.

474D@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 1y

PopOS with gnome was definitely my favorite DE so I feel that.

Someone used to call me theybydoll and I thought that was cute

ObviouslyNotBanana@lemmy.world · 11 pts · 1y

That actually is pretty cute, unlike m'theydy

BigDiction@lemmy.world · 31 pts · 1y (2 replies)

I don’t understand the post title.

ObviouslyNotBanana@lemmy.world · 20 pts · 1y

Same

rabber@lemmy.ca · 3 pts · 1y

You don't have to understand to acknowledge that it's a good title

Jankatarch@lemmy.world · 26 pts · 1y

Sounds like a bad high-fantasy male name.

MisterFrog@lemmy.world · 15 pts · 1y (4 replies)

I like using "gentle people".

Would the gentle person care for some more wine?

Works for all genders

killingspark@feddit.org · 4 pts · 1y

Imma use Gentley'all and noone can stop me

Gladaed@feddit.org · 4 pts · 1y (1 reply)

That's just as weird if not worse.

MisterFrog@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 1y

Gentleman vs Gentleperson

Seems like a legit substitution to me

Agent641@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1y

Folks is my go-to

RaptorBenn@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 1y

That commenter would love me!
