After my previous attempt I tried again undaunted. This time I used the same recipe but stuck to the 1lb loaf instead of the 2lb loaf and made sure not to forget the salt this time π
I mentioned the previous attempt looking like a croissant; I never asked how it actually came out. Did you eat any of it? For a loaf of bread, it looked messed up; but it absolutely looked flakey and delicious still. π€€
I aborted the bake with like 30min left. Parts of the crust had gotten nice and crisp so I ate a little of that. It was pretty bland, probably because I forgot the salt, but tasted OK with butter π

The good thing is itβs a couple dollars in ingredients so you can experiment a bit!
