I have my youtube history, recommendations and shorts turned off; I have You tube ads blocked both on desktop and mobile and I can't wait for the add-on's that block this useless trash as well!

Being honest: I use Youtube to search for tutorials and educational material, and the plain old search is more than enough for that. If I find a tutorial useful enough; I download using stacher, tag it and and add it to my library; When I find channels with content that I just watch, subscribing on newpipe works better. I also like to write really dumb comments on friends channels from time to time.

Also: When searching, some video titles are AI-translated to the local language.
