Lol they're really walking in Nazi Germany's footsteps. Removing the Jews' citizenship was an important step for at first deporting them, then later sending them to extermination camps.

Yes, they have literally been following 1930s Germany, and people have been warning about it for months. Meanwhile the average American still roll their eyes and call it alarmist.

The way things are going, they're going to remove the citizenship of that NYC mayoral candidate, then Trump Tower will burn allá the Reichstag fire of 1933. Which goes into mass arrests, detention without trial in camps to remove opposition, and open the door for labor and exterminations camps.

You even have Musk as Röhm, an ally who played a big role in him being elected and being a leader figure for many of the younger and rabid followers, then a falling out with whispers of opposition and fears of a losing political control. So the Night of the Long Knives probably isn't too far away.

It suggested a wide variety of citizens who could be targeted for denaturalization [but] it also targets much broader groups of people such as those "who pose a potential danger to national security"

Ah, yes. Coming next month: all people participating in protests are now terrorists.

it was "especially concerning" that the administration would plan to pursue denaturalization through civil court. "Civil denaturalization cases provide no right to an attorney, meaning defendants without resources often face the government without representation [...] There are no jury trials, with judges making citizenship determinations alone. The burden of proof is 'clear and convincing evidence' rather than the criminal standard of 'beyond a reasonable doubt.' Additionally, there is no statute of limitations, allowing the government to build cases on decades-old evidence that may be incomplete or unreliable.

There are no cases permitted by law!!! The 14th amendment outlines that anyone born or naturalized in the US is a citizen. There are no constitutional mechanisms to reverse this. I know we are past the point where shouting "it's against the law!" matters, but damn...
