Isn't David Bowie the guy who ripped off "The Man Who Sold the World" from Nirvana?

Roundcat@kbin.cafe · 6 pts · 3y

Shit, I wish David Bowie was my mom.

FartsWithAnAccent@lemmy.world · 15 pts · 3y (2 replies)

I kid, my mom is great, but I'd let him be my second mom.

gravitas_deficiency@sh.itjust.works · 4 pts · 3y (1 reply)

What’s your accent, by the way?

FartsWithAnAccent@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 3y

It varies based on what I eat. Right now it's American I guess?

Quadropopilous@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 3y

Uh I was a 90s kid and I remember those. I'm guessing they don't still do them.. There was something really satisfying flipping through those elongated certificates with that bright red cover.

Tolstoshev@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 3y (2 replies)

I cannot tell you how excited we were to get those gift certificates.

themeatbridge@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 3y

That, and Pizza Hut personal pan pizza coupons.

BonesOfTheMoon@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 3y

As a kid in the 1980s myself I remember it well.
