Orange looks like they lost their braincell usage privilege at the wrong time :D

Well, Campari is definitely orange.

It’s cute because it’s not my screen door :)

Scrolled right past the one on top, then went "wait, 'these ones'? Where's the rest?"

Took me a while to notice the third cat.

Are you gaslighting me

;)

Had a cat growing up that normal screen wires was not enough. We had to have thick chicken wire over it, otherwise he'd just tear through the normal screens.

The bottom half is a reinforced "pet-proof" screen. It is a bit less see-through than the standard screen in the top half, but in retrospect I regret not getting both parts in the sturdy material.

Mr. Grey Ghost cat torn through everything not heavy duty chicken wire. A menace! I loved him.

Why does the door lead immediately into another door?

Kvan@sh.itjust.works · 17 pts · 1y (1 reply)

It’s a screen door, mainly for the purpose of being able to open your front door, but not let bugs in. (Or the cats out)

Korhaka@sopuli.xyz · 6 pts · 1y

Looks like its doing a better job as a cat climbing frame. I want 5 of them.

May I ask where you are from that doesn’t have the concept of screen doors?

Korhaka@sopuli.xyz · 4 pts · 1y (5 replies)

UK, never seen one.

ayyy@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 1y (4 replies)

Don’t y’all have storm doors though? (A second glass door in front of the traditional wood door).

Korhaka@sopuli.xyz · 3 pts · 1y (3 replies)

Nope. Front door is a PVC door. Although I used to live in a house with a wooden front door I think PVC is more common now.

ayyy@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 1y (2 replies)

Interesting! Now that I think about it, the only places with storm doors have crazy wind, be it hurricanes, tornadoes, or heavy blizzards.

Korhaka@sopuli.xyz · 2 pts · 1y (1 reply)

We get storms too, my wheely bin was knocked over in the last one!

ayyy@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 1y

That reminds me of the local news storm scale
