What's funny is as I scrolled past and saw the photo, I thought to myself, "they should have added tomato."
Then I scrolled down a bit more.

You're quite correct. Last night I had a tomato instead and it was not nearly as satisfying as the sandwich.

I would absolutely add tomato, basil and shredded lettuce. And several drops of shrirachi, or a shit ton of pepper. Instead of mayo both sides I may do one half Caesar dressing.

I put blue cheese dressing on sandwiches like this sometimes. Also usually onions. Caesar would be great too!

I love the crispy looking bread with bacon. Those two things always seem to go so well together
