What's everyones favorite Resident evil game?

The Remake of the first Resident Evil is not only the best RE game, but also one of the best horror games, period.

My favourites are undoubtedly REmake, RE3 (OG) and Revelations 1. My RE tier list is quite unconventional, though, so I doubt many will agree with me.

I haven't played 2 or 3, so i cant say how they compare, but RE:4 is an excellent game.

I thought the GameCube version was perfect, though a copy is probably expensive now. I also played it on PS2 and i remember it being a decent enough port. I'd expect any version for any system is going to be a fun time. It's hectic, scary, and you never have enough resources but that's the game. The chainsaw guys are particularly memorable.

RE:5 is alright. Same controls as RE:4, but the whole game is co-op and the setting has gone from cheesy Spain pastiche to racist West Africa pastiche. Pretty fun with a partner, not very good alone.

Currently working through RE:1 on Saturn. I like it so far, but it's a lot more obtuse compared to RE:4 or 5. Loving the FMV sequences though, they should have kept doing those the whole series.

My favorite would be RE1 Remake. I also really liked 7 and Code Veronica. I like all of them except 6.

Re4 re and re4 is a tie. Re7 is my new favourite for now. Excited about the new game coming out, just really wished they added a bit more colour, darkness is great but I really liked how colourful re3 re was.
