You don't want to overwhelm the simple flavors but sometimes one extra note can be nice. Also the quality of the olive oil really matters for this dish: i have a specific brand i go to because i prefer the subtle flavor even over the more expensive brands
i do a mean picatta. The classic (in the US where i'm located) is chicken but if i'm trying to impress i make it with fish (rockfish ideally since i'm on the West Coast) or chicken of the woods mushroom (in the right season). For anyone unaware, you flatten your chicken (or mushroom, skip this step for fish), season and dredge with flour, brown it a bit in oil, then simmer in a butter/lemon/caper sauce with a little white wine to help deglaze the pan. Top with chopped parsley.
If you are making the COTW mushroom version you need to slice and simmer in broth for an hour before you begin. Any broth works
serve with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. An American classic (by way of Italy like many others).

No advice to give but enjoy Fremont! It's an underrated town with a dark history, an evil namesake, and more culture than you'd expect for being next to Milpitas. I grew up there and am rather fond of the area.
If you like pizza definitely check out Mission Pizza near you, Bronco Billy's in Niles, and Shaker's in Centerville. Also lots of great Indian, Afghan, and Vietnamese food around.
And once the hot/dry season starts to end (usually October) you are close to some of the best hiking in the Bay: Sunol Regional Wilderness

Honeybees are quite invasive in North America. They kill and displace native pollinators and they are generally less effective pollinators of native plants. The release of dozens more colonies into the ecosystem is a negative thing no matter how you look at it.
North America has the greatest native bee diversity of any temperate part of the world, but if you go out into habitat and actually start counting insects you will find honeybees outnumber everything else in most places, most times of year.

Wayland is a mess for me with Plasma 6 (Fedora) but i'm not going back to X11. Quite a few features i use(d) have been broken along the way.

Taking photos chews through battery for me, maybe because of the GPS tagging.
I want the GPS tags and most of my photos are in remote areas with no signal so i carry a backup battery
