I mean, all I can advise with is my personal opinion, this is far from fact and will differ person to person, but:
Fire at will.
I don't mind receiving them from romantic partners for any reason,
and from friends if they're funny/have any point other than "look at me" (like dude I know what you look like, do you need fashion advice or could this have just been a text lmao),
but I will not be sending many myself, and as long as people aren't attempting to force me to, we're cool.
