Sorta random but related: Does anyone know how to access (preferably download from) Roku channels privately? There's one channel I need everything from, but can't give my TV internet access anymore.
Boyce said video showed the man walking alone toward the tree with an electrical cord. Additional video captured the incident, and Boyce said investigators found no evidence that anyone else was involved.
(Tbf nobody is taking the name changes seriously, bet $5 they're gonna change "back" as soon as he's gone. We've got bigger problems, he's causing bigger problems.)
Good luck, dumb phone means no encryption, SMS and MMS are stored plaintext and freely shared with US three letters and phone convos have been spied on en masse since the 80s.
For that to be effective you'd have to give up phones, smart, dumb, even carphones and landlines. Not only that, you'd have to reliably know your contacts are never contacting you through their phones, windows PCs, etc, that all themselves have that compromised HW as well. Realistically you'd need to fall back on the postal service, but people can steam open letters, so you'll need directly employed couriers, but can you really trust anyone else? So you need to hand deliver it, but can you really trust your contact to burn after reading? Better say it face to face, if you can be sure they (or third parties) aren't recording, but then Flock knows they were with you and they could be tortured later.
Even deeper, they claim to be able to read "pet tags," which would mean they can read ANY RFID, they know your gym code, if you have a fob for your apartment they can clone it and get in like a kid with a Flipper 0.
Idk how it's physically possible so hopefully they're lying, they should have to be basically touching the tag, but they claim they can. I'd believe they can read UHF RFID but that isn't what they claimed, they specified "pet tags" (which again, would mean they can do all tags.) And that would mean they can add NFC and read your cards in your wallet, if they wanted, because that isn't far off from RFID. Now ostensibly they'd have to perform the handshake with your card so they'd only have the same partial info a Flipper could pull, but like, still not a fan of that personally.
Ah, I see. Had you ever logged in with that device before? Even if you'd reset it, you can't reset the IMEI number (and apparently there's a similar tracker on windows).
Never used Briar myself, but I like how Delta is decentralized and resilient to outages even supporting multi-relay set ups, easy to use for the "normals," it's private and secure, low (no?) metadata. Among other things I'm sure, that's just off the top of my head.
The ease of use is one of the biggest, I couldn't send someone "normal" a link or QR code and expect them to navigate through setting up XMPP or Matrix accounts, but with Delta I've never had an issue, I've even gotten near tech-illiterate people like my mom to do it. Signal is easy too, but was out for other reasons (mostly phone number requirements.)
I mean, no matter how good your opsec is, you logging into your acct is handing them your identity on a silver platter. Like, you go to facebook using Tails with good opsec, the log in page doesn't know who you are, but then you type "my@email.balls" and "hunter2" and it knows you're either a hacker or you're actually you, so they send you an email "blah blah been accessed from such and such IP/IMEI/etc" but unless you say "fuck no it wasn't" then they're like "alright, guess it's him, add this to the list of tracking this guy's shit." It's like, the guy at the liquor store doesn't "know who you are" but then you pull out your ID and all of a sudden he does, "yeah, because you gave him your ID."
You'd need to create a new acct with fake details you haven't previously used and a fresh email. Or just like, not sign in at all.
I also use Delta over Signal for my own reasons, but heads up:
Nah, download Aurora Store from F-Droid, now you have degoogled access to the Play Store.
BUT a word of warning:
You still have to be careful of what you download, it usually lists known trackers to help with that. And "requires google play services" is often actually not true, some things that claim that work fine or maybe just don't give notifications.
I mean, idk, you can resist fingerprinting and tracking all you want, if you log in to a tracker and tell it "yes, I'm me" then it'll always be able to track you. The fact that you're logging in with your identity at all seems to be negating all anti-tracking efforts.
Yeah idk about this one, as others have stated it happens with "white guy" and just "guy," I'm sure it's just because it's trained on social media/sensationalist journalism in the form of articles, and the trend at large on said social/sensationalist media is to be deathly afraid of men by default.
It doesn't care that most violence by men is on other men, that the violent crime rate has been falling since 1993, because it is trained on reactionary online comments that themselves are fueled by the sensationalist articles and also consuming those same articles itself, it was never trained on "truth" because nobody cares about it, it's out there but drowned out. And what's more, since being default afraid of men is ok, it will never be guardrailed like antisemitism or non-gender specific racism has been, which is the only reason it "isn't" racist now, it was and they told it not to be, but that'll never happen with what basically amounts to misandry as long as misandry is acceptable in society.

Was beginning to think I was the only one who'd seen that lmao.

Even jungle drums, you'd need your own drum-language. If the rest of the tribe knows it..
You could book cypher all of your comms, I guess.
HA-HA, "he buy too many beer."
Ok but there's NO FUCKING WAY a $3 trash beer should be $13, and they give you those small ass Dixie Cups.
Found the bull from Philly.

I mean, unless you avoid all the trackers, at least as much as possible. You can at least lessen it if you're smart about it.
Yeah probably tbh, they share data.

The answer is simply "do not use facebook, instagram..."
I think that's just an alternative frontend for F-Droid, like Droidify (the one I actually use for F-Droid) is.
Yeah I do when available too, but if something I need isn't on F-Droid I'll use Aurora begrudgingly, just nice to have the option.
I also use Delta over Signal for my own reasons, but heads up:
