Look, I get it. The world is scary and you're seeing a lot of evil and you just don't know what the hell to do. So you're wildly swinging about, panicking, desperate to do something, anything. But in your panic, you aren't even stopping to think if your actions are practical, feasible, or even make sense.
Demonetizing Jubilee is nonsense. That's like seeing a fascist demonstration at a street corner and deciding the best course of action is to take down the nearby stop sign and rip out the sidewalk for "platforming fascism". And going about it by creating a petition? Even more nonsense.
Did I understand your analogy correctly? Would that also be like building a pedestrian overpass nearby if I start a communist demonstration on the corner?
I think platforms like theirs set the tone for what is acceptable discourse. Moreover, I do think this particular instance of platforming fascism is part of a societal synthesis.
I'm not really familiar with jubilee but this session was set up to host far right views. It was upfront with the intention to sus out the current points of view that would normally go under the radar without this kind of spotlight. We can't pretend these views don't exist and to keep them in the dark seems even more dangerous to me. The thing from watching this, however, is that they all seemed very eager as if they're trying to start their grifting propaganda career.
that djinni is already out of the bottle. this is one of the most viral youtube channels out. now we do have to actively get the word out that this is a channel designed to reshape and reprogram your world view.

Isn't that the dude who then said he was fired due to his Jubilee appearance and got $35k from GoFundMe?
And then it turns out he was fired months earlier?
I think the maggots are already chewing at the heart of Jubilee.

So just so I'm clear, somebody decided that the way to handle this was... free advertising?

The argument I heard was focused on leftist content creators, asking them to stop going on Jubilee.
If the only people willing to go on your platform are far-right extremists, it goes back to being an obscure niche.
