Many of these things (mulch, playgrounds) just leave the tires to leach into the environment. Tires don’t biodegrade because they are made with plastics now. At least with controlled incineration they can be eliminated safely and used for electricity generation.

Recycling the biggest lie we where told. All pushed so it wouldn't effect companies bottom line. The other 2 Rs reduce companies profits.

We use both. But y is the traditional British English spelling.
