New state law lets construction crews beat the heat with earlier start times

They should be doing this work at night when they can. Cuts down on accidents, traffic jams, and heat strokes.

The earlier start times will only be permitted during the hottest months of the year – from April 1st through September 30th – and must be at least 300 feet from any occupied home.

Only the hottest...6 months of the year.
