Yeah, I was confused about why a nihilist wouldn't want to live. I guess some people tie their will to live so strongly to their sense of meaning that they can't fathom someone still wanting to live if they don't believe that things exist for a reason.

oh, well the meme is a misrepresentation. nihilism is about finding happiness and purpose after the secular awakening and in the midst of a meaningless world. Nietchze had a whole character arc to get to that point throughout his existential crisises.

The meme is making fun of a certain perception of online "nihilists" who stop short at the meaningless world part and decide to just indulge in misery.
