It’s crazy to me that COD is still doing the exact same thing they’ve been doing since I stopped enjoying them ten years ago.

BLOPS 2 had good gameplay, iirc. I kept on that game for a few years instead of getting any of the later installments.

Four deaths.
The first was when the hopped on the regenerating health bandwagon.
Then CoD wasn't balanced for lean.

I'm old. vCOD, UO, and CoD2 were my shit. Cod4 was the transition, but still good. Blackops lost the theme and killed any competitive scene opportunities for the game, and as you said, it's been Ctrl+c/Ctrl+v ever since, yet also worse every time.

It got lazy around Black Ops 1.
