Have you ever had a dream that was nonsensical at the time, but later on became meaningful?

I just woke up from a dream where my nephew twice removed came up to my house to deliver something to my neighbors in a car that was like a pick-uo truck but assembled from all kinds of different car parts. I took apart the driver side door with a potato peeler thinking he was gonna scrap the car anyway. When he returned he was shocked to find his door sliced up. I felt bad so I offered to get him a new door.

I can't wait to find out what this all means. Is there an oneirologist in the house?

Without knowing anything about your situation:

  • messed up car you think he's going to junk: do you think he's basing himself/ his personality off of the wrong things? do you worry it will lead him to danger?

  • removing the door with a kitchen tool: do you think you're being too controlling or want to control him? do you feel that you are incompetent at this or have inadequate tools for the job?

I appreciate the attempt but I haven't seen this guy in years

All I can say is: everybody in your dream is showing you aspects of yourself, so in a way also your nephew twice removed is you in the dream. Why did dream you choose him to show you something that's occupying space in your mind?
