I don't think I've ever had a doctor I felt I could contact directly, let alone text. Best I've ever had was that I could contact the reception / nurses and leave a message with them, then expect them to ask the doctor my question and get back to me.
I understand why doctors form a boundary between themselves and patients, I don't begrudge them their privacy, but I always see this kind of post and wonder whether or not my experience is the minority.
edit: remove random word that my keyboard left in there, as a treat.
You probably just haven't seen a specific doc enough (which is a good thing!)
If you're the type of person to live this kind of meme, you're probably been seeing a specific doc regularly to work on a chronic condition (once a month maybe even once a week) for months if not years. And the doc referenced in this meme would probably also be a psychiatrist

Ha! I think I remember this photo. Was taken during lockdown. Was meant to convey ‘normalcy’

No, getting through to a doctor is harder than contacting a celebrity in my country. Cheap healthcare though..

Fair enough. I'm sorry if you have to live through this.

Also, convincing him that you're Bob Dylan.

Looks like Dr. Jacoby. Is he texting himself?
