I felt a surge to rummage through my childhood home for CDs and the like after i watched this. I stopped using Spotify without even thinking about it, the endless yapping, podcasts just three me off.

Kinda rings true. I now have a CD player in my car and living room, but I'm not interested in carrying around a bulky discman again.
Listening to the albums of my youth has mostly lost its charm though. I think I'm mostly just nostalgic and missing my old friends.

I haven't tried it but it feels like the bulk of the actual CDs (or even worse, the casettes) would be the worst of it. I have a vinyl player but the collection is shamefully small.
Maybe it's just nostalgia as you say. But there's nothing wrong to give into that feeling every once in a while is there?
