Good points! My camera (the one I'm talking about in my original post) is "just" a digital camera but I find I'm more deliberate when using that instead of my phone.

I'll probably not go back to film photography, I find digital photos just as good, but i remember fondly taking my sweet time trying to frame a shot and waiting for the right light. I've stopped doing that, turned photography into something passive, just shooting away. This video made me want to actively take photos again.

Gods I fucking hate that app (and the way Reddit's mobile site tries to shove it down your throat). Welcome!

The news article, as well as the published work, state that:

Cartilage regeneration appears to occur through gene expression changes in pre-existing chondrocytes, rather than stem or progenitor cell proliferation.

Long-term side effects will need to researched of course and there might still be stem cells involved in the process, however that doesn't seem to be the case according to what we know as of now.

I haven't tried it but it feels like the bulk of the actual CDs (or even worse, the casettes) would be the worst of it. I have a vinyl player but the collection is shamefully small.

Maybe it's just nostalgia as you say. But there's nothing wrong to give into that feeling every once in a while is there?
