Downsize Ender 5 plus?

I know that many mods for some printers aim to enlarge the volume, but I've been considering downsizing somewhat my plus, as I have moved to a smaller house and the plus is a bit too large. An option would be to trade for a regular Ender 5, but I have had one, and the plus is better in many respects. Just the 4 guide/2 bed screws put it in a different league.

I really like the plus, I have modded it (hotend, direct drive, Klipper, board...), and have it pretty well dialed in, and I'm going to convert to "CoreX", a cheaper hybrid alternative to CoreXY, that removes a lot of weight from the gantry, ergo, higher speed and accuracy.

I'm going to end up with a respectably fast and accurate single color printer, and I'm considering adding the INDX tool changer.

I have googled, but either my Google-fu fails me or it's just too obscure of a subject.

Has anyone seen something like this?

For the cost it would take to downsize you would be better off just buying a smaller printer. Maybe sell the plus to offset the cost? Or maybe build an enclosure/end table around the printer to hide it away when not in use

The ender 5 isn't a bed slinger so it should be relatively compact for its print volume. You can certainly get a smaller printer. You can do this by getting a more compact printer and/or sacrificing build volume. If you want compact you're probably going to want a coreXY

For example:

your ender 5 pro is 552mm x 485mm x 510mm and has a build volume of 220mm x 220mm x 300
a Prusa i3 mk3 is 500mm x 550mm x 400mm and has a build volume of 210mm^3^ (the bedslinger is indeed bigger)
a 300mm^3^ Voron 2.4 is 460mm x 460mm x 480mm and has, well, a 300mm^3^ build volume. They also have a 250mm version that will probably save another 50mm in every dimension
a Prusa mini is 380mm × 330mm × 380mm and has a build volume of 180mm ^3^
a Voron 0.2 is 230mm x 230mm x 250mm and has a build volume of 120mm^3^
I gave up on finding dimensions on the salad fork, but it's probably going to be even smaller than the v0 due to using 15x15 extrusions instead of 20x20

I'm talking about an Ender 5 plus, not a pro. The build volume is 350x350x400. External dimensions are something like 650x650x700, not taking into account the bowden/cable arch on top. It's an XL class printer.
