The new dude being juxtaposed into all the flashbacks as if he was actually there the entire time threw me for a loop and made me question my sanity.
Then I remember I am watching Dan Da Dan and that's just what this show does to ya.

The biggest plothole in Dandadan is how Takakura was getting hard targeted for bullying when Kinta was really out here like this.

Takakura's actually not that uncharismatic, he's just a nerd with a somewhat strange fascination which makes him an easy target. Kinta's charisma score is so far in the negatives he becomes imperceptible to everyone around him unless he actively announces his presence.

Wow that new dude is annoying lol. I’m sure his character will develop later on, but that first introduction did him no favors.
Also, can someone confirm - the flashbacks end in the unintentional kiss right?
