For years I drove an extended fifteen passenger van countless miles across the US with a completely obscured rear window. If you know how to use your side mirrors and pay attention to traffic you will know what's behind you. How do you think truckers do it?
Itt: "i used to drive my truck without rear window without issue, there's no reason it isn't safe."
Uhh yeah, tons of incident happened because of blindspot and truck these day have reverse camera build in to eliminate this issue. Never would i think people will think having blindspot isn't an issue but here we are.

The rear window doesn’t matter anyway. All it does it let you see stuff you’ve already passed.
