Alcohol thins your blood so maybe it works but it's definitely not drying anything. No comment on the second one.

I mean it does make sense. One of the functions of oxytocin is to stimulate uterine contractions and giving the woman an orgasm is a legit way to non pharmacologically induce labor. Personally it seems weird to me but all of pregnancy is gross to me and it is genuinely a thing that some midwives / doulas will recommend that the mother / husband do in the case of an otherwise uncomplicated late term baby.

I completely forgot about that. We got the same recommendation before they decided to enduce labor. Along with several others that would definitely not ease the pain of a period if that's the goal.

Both, but I'm a fan of the latter. Snorting pepper on the toilet (not a lot of pepper!) helps, too.
