My phone outlived its case

Not sure if phone's quality is high, or my expectations of consumer's experience is so low.

I got both in 2018

That's reasonably common, after all it takes the abuse the phone then doesn't have to.

Your case took the beating your phone didn't, the phone survived because of the case, no?

Transparent plastics are typically much more brittle.

Especially when they age and turn yellow.

I'm on my third case for this 5-year-old phone, and that's with a pretty good brand of case

I 3d print my own cases. When they crack, I superglue them back together at least a couple times.

Phone is fine. Never had a case.

yeah but the phone is way too thin and slippery. I am not trusting myself

Consider one with a faux leather back next time. They don't have to be slippery eels to be good.

My phone+case are only 3 years old and the case is falling apart. The phone is fine, but could use a new battery
